We're hiring!!! Research Fellow at Mental Health Innovation Network

We are recruiting a Research Fellow in the Centre for Global Mental Health (CGMH) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) to join the MHIN team as Knowledge Exchange Officer and Platform Coordinator.

To apply, visit: https://jobs.lshtm.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=EPH-PH-47

Applications from candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK will be considered alongside other applications.

MHIN is a collaboration between CGMH and the Department of Mental Health and Substance Use at the World Health Organisation (WHO). Together, we work to increase uptake of evidence-based innovations for mental health care in low-resource settings. Our website, www.mhinnovation.net, has attracted over 3,500 members and visitors from virtually every country in the world. We create and curate content on key topics relevant to mental health service providers, researchers, policy-makers, funders, students, and advocates, showcasing innovative service solutions and facilitating partnerships and learning around the globe.

The Research Fellow will support the general management and operations of the MHIN project, with primary responsibilities including:

  1. Managing knowledge exchange strategy deliverables, including development and commissioning of web content and knowledge exchange products, and managing the MHIN website and its functions;
  2. Contributing to the strategic direction, visibility, and sustainability of MHIN, including team and project management, relationship management with key stakeholders, actively seeking out funding opportunities and developing bids, and promoting MHIN externally;
  3. Providing ongoing support to MHIN’s first regional network (MHIN Africa) and proactively exploring opportunities for additional hubs (eg. Latin America); and
  4. Providing teaching and student support and internal citizenship as per LSHTM academic expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented researcher to accelerate her or his career in global mental health by gaining the contacts and experience in knowledge exchange, relationship management, and grants management necessary to lead large-scale research projects.
