Brief Biography: 

Nicole Votruba is a part-time PhD student and researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry of King’s College London. She works for the Centre for Implementation Science (CLAHRC South London), and coordinates the King’s College led FundaMentalSDG global intiative (www.fundamentalsdg.org) to strengthen mental health in the UN SDGs. Her background is in international relations and international law. In her PhD project she analyses research evidence and policy interrelations in mental health in low and middle income countries. With her research she aims to understand knowledge translation and exchange in mental health, and to contribute to improving mental health research and policy interrelations, in order to strengthen mental health on national and gobal policy agendas for low and middle income countries.
