Welcome to the Mental Health Innovation Network (MHIN). We’re a community of mental health innovators - researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, service user advocates, and donors from around the world - sharing innovative resources and ideas to promote mental health and improve the lives of people with mental, neurological and substance use disorders.
MHIN aims to facilitate the development and uptake of effective mental health interventions by:

MHIN is a network for the global mental health community to communicate and share knowledge, experiences and resources to improve the quality and coverage of care. Users sign up to become MHIN members and contribute actively to the site.

MHIN’s core team is based at the Centre for Global Mental Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and WHO’s Department for Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Our multi-disciplinary group supports MHIN’s members to get the most out of the network.

MHIN is jointly led by the Centre for Global Mental Health (CGMH) at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Department for Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Each partner brings leadership expertise relevant to the overall goals of MHIN.
