Dr Anula Nikapota, who died on 4th April, was an important early supporter of development of Child and Adolescent Mental Health services across the world. The Diploma that she established at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neurosciences in London is in its 30th year, and was pioneering in providing access to excellent training for many people around the world. Many of the graduates went on to establish services in their own countries, and Anula remained an important mentor for many. She was active in the Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where you can read more about her life https://www.acamh.org/blog/dr-anula-nikapota-r-i-p/.
