Anxiety UK was established to promote the relief and rehabilitation of those living with agoraphobia and associated anxiety disorders, phobias and conditions, in particular, but not exclusively, by raising awareness in such topics. Anxiety UK has 50 years’ experience of supporting individuals and organisations requiring assistance with anxiety, stress and anxiety based depression.
Summary of relevant work: 

Anxiety UK provides access to therapy through its national therapy service through which the following therapy types are available: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Compassion Focused Therapy. Anxiety UK also has a helpline, email, text and instant messaging service and a Therapy on Demand service which allows those that need immediate therapeutic support to access this online.

The charity operates a research fund – the Katharine & Harold Fisher Anxiety Research fund that supports research into anxiety each year via allocation of a small research grant.

Anxiety UK works in partnership with 9 partner organisations and through which the charity’s assessment and therapy services are made available to partner beneficiaries.
