Summary of relevant work:
CoA's core business is to provide primary healthcare for individuals & families with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
We offer holistic assessment, care and support to:
- People with mental health and physical problems
- People with drug and alcohol problems
- People affected by domestic violence and post trauma problems
- Adults and young people with offending behaviour problems
- People of Africa with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) heritage in various issues affecting their health and well-being
- Provide support and understanding of inter-generational and intercultural conflicts
- Support rural health clinics in Africa, giving them access to medical equipment. We also do African awareness training
- Provide liaison services for people of African or other communities from CALD heritage
- Provide organisational emergency cover for nursing, general and domestic staff. We also do project monitoring and evaluation

- Meritorious Service Award for Excellence in Multicultural Affairs (2014) presented by the Government of Victoria & Victorian Multicultural Commission
- Ambassador for Peace from Universal Peace Federation, an organisation with consultative status on economics and peace with the United Nations (2014)
