The Institute's mission reflects its belief that people, through the enhancement of their own capacities, may more efficiently cope with the fantastic problems of being simply human.

Summary of relevant work: 

We operate clinics for several types of disorders, such as eating disorders, and run conferences on various topics. We also run a low cost clinic that is available to local community. We also have a UN NGO Committee  that  offers its services to nations seeking to integrate mental health and primary  care as well as offering assistance to nations seeking to upgrade their mental health resources.

Other areas trained in include: Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program; Psychoanalytic Training Programs; Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program; Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions Educational Program; Postdoctoral Fellowship for Clinical Psychologists; Contemporary Psychoanalysis, an International journal; and Clinical Services-Psychotherapy,Psychoanalysis and Specialized Services
