Yale Psychiatry’s Global Mental Health Program is an exciting concentration within the Department of Psychiatry residency that capitalizes on the broad and diverse experiences of our faculty and residents. Originated by residents, this is a unique program that supplements current courses and electives with additional mentoring, scholarly projects, local opportunities, and international experiences. The program aims to increase awareness of global mental health topics while developing tools to address the associated challenges both at home and abroad. The Global Mental Health Program is a unique opportunity to join an expanding network of individuals who share a common interest.
