Brief Biography:

Abhishek is a person who focuses on constant self-development and believes that anything could be achieved through Hard work and Persistence. From a non-serious, academically average student to an initiator & influencer in College; he has witnessed positive growth.

The opportunity of being the Founder Vice-Chairperson of the Finance Festival "Insight: The Annual Business, Finance and Economics Meet" of NM college, was a turning point in his life. "Insight" was a roller coaster of challenges from the financial crisis to demotivated members. However, these situations were a catalyst for his growth. Over time his decisions became more purpose oriented. He looked for the 'why' before the 'what'.

The essence of 'initiating' something that benefits many, gives a sense of fulfilment and accomplishment. This is how Abhishek felt when he completed his journey in 'Insight'. Thereafter, with a vision to raise uncommon leaders by bridging the gap between existing and required knowledge, he came up with the idea of 'Leadership and Management Cell (LMC)' for NM College. He delved into the deeper meaning of leadership and proposed that three skill sets of Communication, Emotional Intelligence and Design Thinking be imparted to students.

The experience led to wisdom and hence he started striving to find his ultimate purpose. He felt that a much bigger purpose is met by helping others. The happiness and positivity raises the overall energy of the environment and the positive vibes serve the self, others and ultimately, the universe.

He believes that the ones who are 'provided' must feel responsible for the 'under-resourced' sections of society and strive hard towards their development.

This lead to another initiative "Akanksha", in which a digital lab was launched in a village to create equal opportunities for the under-resourced section of society. So, Abhishek is a highly passionate young enthusiast, who is a keen explorer of upcoming innovations & open to new advents.
