Brief Biography: 

Dr. Artin Mahdanian is a psychiatrist certified by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He is currently a consultation-liaison psychiatry fellow in Johns Hopkins University and performs psychiatric consultations in multidisciplinary settings.

After finishing his medical doctorate, he pursued his academic work as an MSc in psychiatry research followed by postgraduate medical training in psychiatry residency at McGill University. During residency, he completed visiting research in Global Mental Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK.

His areas of clinical and research interest include CL Psychiatry, psychosomatic/pain medicine, and Global Mental Health with a focus on human rights in health services.
