Brief Biography: 

Dr. Carol is the Founder and Principal Consultant of the Women's Wellness Group. Dr. Carol is Doctor of Public Health with over 29 years combined professional experience, with 11 years in international development in Sierra Leone, West Africa (education and psychosocial programs in post war, natural disasters, and complex trauma settings).

In 2018 Dr. Carol conducted a seminal research study in heterogeneous immigrant and refugee African communities from 10 Anglophone and Francophone countries who spoke 22 different languages exposed to pre-migatory conflict and trauma using the ADAPT model: a conceptual framework for mental health and psychococial programming in post conflict settings. In 2019 Dr. Carol conducted a seminal gender-focused study of same with diverse women exposed to direct, indirect, and intergenerational trauma from 11 Anglophone and Francophone countries who spoke 9 different languages.
