Brief Biography: 

Eleni Vousoura, MSc, MPhil, PhD received her B.S. (Honors) in Psychology from the University of Athens, Greece, and her M.A. in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Jacobi Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her research and scholarly interests lie in adapting, testing, and disseminating interventions for common mental health disorders among at risk, underserved populations from culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds globally. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the impact of psychological distress among mothers in rural sub-Saharan Africa on child health outcomes utilizing data from the Millennium Villages Project of the Earth Institute at Columbia University.
