Brief Biography: 

Dr. Elizabeth Louis is a Haitian American psychologist with clinical and research interests in global mental health, trauma, disaster mental health, and ethnic/racial minorities well-being. Her experiences have led her to engage in community mental health work in Haiti and Rwanda to address mental health stigma, health disparities, and to incorporate culturally appropriate training for health/mental health professionals and laypersons in diverse settings. She is a recipient of local, state and national awards that attest to her commitment to mental health and service to marginalized and underserved populations.
