Emma Gilbert

A mental health nurse with an interest in global mental health, currently working for six months helping to facilitate a diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Butabika Hospital, Uganda. 

I have a Masters in Nursing, a Diploma in Tropical Nursing and a degree in Social Anthropology. Prior to working as a nurse I was a producer within television and radio, and I continue to pursue opportunities which allow me to combine clinical frontline work with communicating messages and ideas. 

I'm keen to network with others who share interests within the world of service development and transcultural psychiatry.
