Brief Biography:

I am an independent thinker, a hard worker, a team-player, and a principled person. I am a down to earth person, with a listening ear and an open mind. I am a fast learner and I use learned lessons to improve on the future mistakes. i value very much loyalty, honesty and integrity. I know how to work under pressure and still deliver what is expected of me. My approach to life is embedded in my personal experience of having been exposed to the 1990-1994 Rwanda's war and genocide. This experience has influenced my postgraduate studies on psychiatric nurses' lived experience of aggression and violence and then to the development of a model to facilitate effective management of aggression experienced by psychiatric nurses from the patients at the University of Johannesburg. This model incorporates self-awareness, communication skills, stress and conflict management. I am also able to provide individual, group, family or couple therapy.
