Brief Biography:

I am a skilled community advocate with experience in Women's Rights, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention in Ghana. I am a chemical engineer by profession with TOR, a Counselor and the founder of Favor Foundation for Life (FFL), a volunteer NGO working on women's rights, mental health and suicide prevention. Eight years ago I suffered depression from an abusive relationship and became suicidal. After several failed suicide attempts, I was privileged to receive counseling and therapy from the USA through a friend. When I got well and returned to Ghana, I decided to put a face on suicide in Ghana, to use myself as example to educate my community and the whole nation that suicide is preventable and mental illness can also be treated with the right professionals and medication. I have since resolved to fight the illness that almost took my life. My passion is saving lives, nurturing dreams and advocating for the marginalized in society.
