Brief Biography: 

Encouraged by the concern on the rise of “Pasung” cases in Indonesia, an idea to build up a mental health promotion movement arise as an effort to reduce the stigma and prejudice toward mental disorder. On the November 25th, 2016, the logo and the name of Halo Jiwa were made at the Faculty of Psychology, Airlangga University by Azmul Fuady Idham, S.Psi, M.Psi which was a sign of the formation of Halo Jiwa in Indonesia. The Founder and several early pioneer members come from Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia (the main basis of Halo Jiwa) try to build up this community as a national agent in mental health promotion.

Our Main Vision: Providing a forum for mental health promotion and education through various media.

Our Mission: 1) Promoting and giving education on mental health at the individual, family and community level; 2) Optimizing online media and other mass media in disseminating information about mental health; 3) Collecting and managing creative ideas related to mental health promotion; 4) supporting and innovating in the process of promotion and education of mental health; 5) Joining the national and international activities or events to support mental health improvement in Indonesia.
