Brief Biography: 

I am a qualified Medical Psychologist and accredited Member of Kenya Psychological Association (KPA) and British Psychological society (BPS) with significant experience in Mental health and psychosocial support. I Currently Work as a Psychologist with Médecins Sans Frontiéres Switzerland in Dagahley project, Dadaab refugee complex, Kenya. Major activities involve providing Mental health and psychosocial support services including Individual, group, family and couples therapies to the refugee population in Dagahley with diverse Medical, Psychological and Psychiatric conditions in addition to providing specialised play therapy sessions to children admitted in wards, training and psychoeducation sessions to caregivers of patients and Community sensitization on Mental health. I have experience in managing Substance use disorders, SGBV, IPV, Depression, PTSD and other Mental health conditions. Somali native and fluent in English, Swahili and Arabic as well.
