Brief Biography: 

I am a Public Health Consultant at Public Health England (part of UK Government) and Visiting Research Fellow at University of Leeds with an interest in prevention and promotion in global mental health.

I deliver technical support to partners outside the UK in mental health strategy development, data/information systems, needs assessment, the development of prevention and promotion programmes and monitoring and evaluation.

My research interests include the burden and impact of mental disorders in multi-drug resistant tuberculosis as well as developing appropriate interventions that are feasible and appropriate in resource constrained settings as part of the COMDIS-HSD research programme consortium.

I have a background as a mental health nurse in the UK and have a masters in public health. I am a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health (UK).
