Joshua Chiroma Gandi

Dr Joshua Chiroma Gandi is a male Nigerian who hails from Toro in Bauchi State. His professional and academic qualifications include Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Psychiayric Nurse (RPN) Certificates, a Higher Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, BSc in Psychology, MSc in Clinical Psychology, PhD in Psychometrics, and a Diploma in Research Ethics. He initially had 17 years of experience in healthcare and clinical services and currently have 14 years in academics as a lecturer and researcher. Dr Gandi is affiliated to reputable organisations and professional bodies, including Nigerian Psychological Association; American Psychological Association; International Society of Quality of Life Research; Psychometric Society; International Society for Data Science and Analytics; The Global Health Network; and Mental Health Innovation Network. He is a faculty member at the University of Jos, Nigeria, who is enthusiastic and passionate about assessment and research. He also currently serves as the Executive Director and Principal Investigator (PI) at the newly established Center for Psychoperiscope (CfP) which is a non governmental not-for-profit research institute. Dr Gandi's areas of research interest include test development and psychometric modeling, person-reported and patient-related outcomes.research, quality of life and mental health research, clinical trial and psychological testing, and then systematic reviews and meta-analysis. He looks forward to having collaborators and partners to actualise the research and assessment mandates of the Center for Psychoperiscope (CfP).
