Brief Biography: 

Forensic Mental Health Nurse Manager with over a decade experience in mental health and a holder of an International Masters of Science in Addiction Sttudies from 3 world leading Institutes, Virginia University (USA), Kings College (UK) and Adelaide University (Australia). Great interest and experience in Trauma Informed Care in custodial care services in developed countries. Currently working on project to build understanding for professionals who support mental health patients from conflict affected regions or post natural disasters, covering mental health, drugs and alcohol issues and it's impact on violence and aggression and communicable diseases. Looking to engage with fellow professionals in Research projects, Global Mental Health Policy and Drugs and Alcohol Policy and the impact on communicable diseases and general social issues, especially in developing countries. Also looking to build on my knowledge and experience in Global Mental Health Psychosocial Community based interventions and combining these with scientific evidence based intervention strategies.
