Brief Biography: 

Dr Khesraw Parwiz is graduated from Kabul Medical University, Kabul, Afghanistan in 2008 and completed his post graduate studies in "International Master in Mental Health Policy and Services” in Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2010, he has working with different international NGOs (Jhpiego an affiliation of John Hopkins University, IPSO –International Psycho-Social Organization), and MoPH (Mental health Department) as a public Mental Health Expert in Mental Health system of Afghanistan. 

His field of interest is; mental health in primary healthcare specifically provision of psychosocial support and counseling. He has successfully implemented the integration of psychosocial counseling into primary healthcare system of Afghanistan through introducing around (300) three hundred trained psychosocial counselors in more than 200 health facilities in Afghanistan.
