Leah James

Leah Emily James is a social psychologist and clinical social worker, with research and clinical interests focused on mental health and gender based violence interventions in disaster/humanitarian contexts. Leah is a Research Associate with the Institute of Behavioral Science's Natural Hazards Center, University of Colorado, Boulder. In recent years, she has also served in technical mental health and research roles with organizations such as the Center for Victims of Torture, the International Medical Corps, and the International Rescue Committee, in Jordan, Ukraine, Lebanon, Iraq, Burundi, and elsewhere.
