Brief Biography: 

Margaret Nakhid-Chatoor, Ed.D. MBPsS. is a Psychologist/Dyslexia Consultant, in the areas of individual and family therapy. She is the Immediate Past President (2019-2021) of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists (TTAP), the Director at the MNC Psychological Testing and Counselling Centre and an Assistant Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).

Her main research areas are parental bereavement of children and adolescents and indigenous Caribbean Research methodologies. She has worked for many years in the field of Psychology and Education, especially with adolescents and with children considered ‘at risk’. She piloted the Y.E.S! programme - Youth Empowerment Series in elementary schools in 2000, for children and adolescents.
