Brief Biography: 

I am a humanitarian worker with sixteen (16) years of experience in public health, emergency response and response and gender in Sub-Saharan Africa. I have worked with WHO, WFP, UNDP and various other international NGOs, and Government(s) in countries such as Guinea-Bissau, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda Rwanda, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe amongst others. I am conducting a PhD in Public Health and hold a Masters in Public Health, Masters in International Studies and Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Development Studies. My interest in mental health stems from my current studies in which I am looking at gender-based violence in public health emergencies, as well as my current work with WHO in health emergencies.
