Brief Biography: 

Ede Michael, I started my Public Health Career from Senior Secondary school one (SS1) when a guardian that I was living with disclosed to me of his HIV status, and took me with him to support group of people living HIV/AIDS in Nigeria called Unique Aid Support group now known as Unique Aid Foundation. After my Secondary School, I proceeded to Polytechnic, where I obtained my national Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Accounting went for my compulsory Youth Services. I Joined same support group as one of their Adherence Support, and from there I was referred to Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria where I'm presently serving as Advocacy Officer. My interest on mental Health, presently I have an Elder Sister who have been battling with Mental health challenges for the past 20years and I have some friends who are PLHIV and as well have mental health Issues. We came together and form a support group called Body and soul where I'm presently a Secretary. We are helping ourselves in terms of Advocacy to stakeholders, and seeking for partnership to drive patient led intervention for mental health problem.
