Michael Ede

Job role:
Executive Secretary
Member type:

Service User Representative/Advocate
Brief Biography:

I'm Ede Michael, a certified National Accountant who later turned to social worker. I started my career as a community volunteer with Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, in the 2012 after NYSC. Later I became an Internal Auditor with same organization under a Global Fund project called Community System Strengthening for PLHIV. All these does not give me satisfaction so long as I see people with mental health challenges including my loving Sister. This is what led to the vision of forming an organization that will move for advocacy and do intervention that will improve the wellbeing of both patients and carer. Network of people with lead MH experience in Nigeria, where I'm presently an Executive Secretary of the Organization.
