Brief Biography: 


Olotu Oluwanisola is a graduate of Psychology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Mental Health Advocator, Facilitator and Counselor for mental health illnesses such as depression, suicide ideation, anxiety and other related mental health cases. He is also the Program officer, Mental Health Foundation and Emotional Development Academy.

He is a pioneer member of the Mental Health Peer Counselors at the University of Ibadan that helped fellow students where he counselled and mentored a lot of students coping with mental illnesses especially depression and also advocated for a mental health Platform.


Mr Oluwanisola is also a member of the Nigeria Mental health stakeholder and a recent finalist at the British Future Leaders Connect where he advocated for global mental health policies. In his capacity as Mental Health Advocate in Nigeria, He champions the advancement of fundament human rights of people with mental illness as well as evidence-based advocacy for the development of stringent mental health policies. He has also led a social awareness campaign against mental health discrimination and stigmas in Nigeria that has pushed the active instrumentation of the Mental Health Bill on the floor of the house of Assembly.
