I am a Psychologist and Child Rights advocate with over seven years of work experience. I have experience planning, developing and successfully implementing a multi-level mental health and psycho-social support intervention for school going adolescents which also includes a digital intervention. I have also developed an awareness and sensitization programme for adolescents and young adults to combat the stigma that comes with seeking support for mental health issues. My other areas of expertise include public engagement and advocacy in the fields of mental health and child rights. I have 4 years of experience in child rights and I worked with children in conflict with law as well as victims of child trafficking, child marriage, child labour etc., by providing mental health and psychosocial support to them and their families. I have conducted capacity building trainings on child rights for multiple stakeholders such as police officials, social workers and personnel at civil society organizations providing care. I hold 2 Masters Degrees; one in Clinical Psychology from Fergusson College, Pune University and the 2nd in Global Mental Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and King’s College London.
