Shiferaw Abebech Araya

I am Abebech Araya Shiferaw from Federal Ministry of Ethiopia and I am highly motivated to take part in the leadership work shop. I have earned my Second Degree in Master of Public Health from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia in 2012. I have also graduated with B.Sc. Degree in Health Education and Behavioral Science from the Public Health Faculty of Jimma University, Ethiopia. Concerning my work experience, Currently, I am working as a Health Education and Promotion Team Leader in Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia. I am responsible for the overall coordination of Social Behavior Change Communication initiatives which are top priorities by the Government and are at the centre of Ethiopian health policy. I am Passionate on the leader of social behavior change communication activities because the key role of community health improvement is working on behavior change communication.In addition, I have worked as health trainerfor two consecutive years. I have also been working as a program coordinator of health education and promotion activities for three years.

Overall I am young, energetic, and passionate and want to see a healthy and productive generation.
