Brief Biography: 

 

 

I am a psychologist working for the Friendship Bench Project in the capacity of training the lay health workers in the use of Psychological interventions. I am also a clinical supervisor.

I have been working in the field of mental health since 2010 and my interest is  in developing culturally appropriate adaptations of mental illness concepts and interventions in order to improve mental health care in Africa. I hope to make a difference at grass root levels and contribute to a positive change by engaging in research and using scientific results in productive communication with stakeholders and policy makers
