Brief Biography: 

 

My name is Ms. Uchechi Chinyere Onukogu; I am a Chief Clinical Psychologist primarily working with Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Calabar. I have special interest and good skill in Community Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention, Treatment and Research. I also work at the community level with most Primary Health Care centers in a project (- Mental Health Scale up Nigeria) designed towards the integration of mental health care into primary health care system in Nigeria. In addition to these, I work with Internally Displaced Population, and those affected by any form of trauma.

 

I have a Bsc degree in Psychology, M.sc in Clinical Psychology and also Masters in Humanitarian And Refugee Sturdies -  MHRS. Presently, I have a P hd in view.

 

I am an Awardee of Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, with specialization in Public Health and Substance abuse at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Baltimore, Maryland USA.

 

I have anchored some researches on mental health and presently working in Community ental Health Program -Mh-sun, and I love reading.
