Brief Biography: 

Babatunde Yusuf Olalekan is currently a fourth year pharmacy student at the Prestigious University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a young researcher having interest in global health, mental health, one health, antimicrobial resistance, using artificial intelligence to achieve universal health coverage and the use of natural remedies

Driven by his burning passion to improve the health of people in his community, Yusuf has facilitated and participated in several community health outreaches and was recognized by Pharmanews for his work to celebrate the World Aids day, 2020. He is a Muhammed Bin Rashid University of Health Sciences (MBRU) community immunity ambassador that is responsible to protect and educate the community from Pandemics.

Yusuf is passionate about ensuring every Nigerian have access to quality and accessible healthcare without incurring catastrophic expenditure. Yusuf is a young entrepreneur that advocates for the 17 UN SDGs, he represented the University of Ilorin at the Hult Prize regionals 2020 in Abuja where his team devised a technology to prevent food wastage
