About resources
The MHIN team aims to provide a rich and diverse database of mental health resources relevant to the needs of its members.
The MHIN team identifies resources through research and contact with informants in its networks. MHIN members are also encouraged to submit resources to the site, which are assessed for quality and relevance to member needs by members of the MHIN team before being uploaded.
The MHIN team develops resources for its members based on stakeholder consultation for two reasons:
- To share learning and expertise by synthesizing knowledge related to the development, content, evaluation and scale up of innovations in global mental health
- To facilitate the scale up of innovations through the provision of appropriately packaged information and its timely transfer to relevant stakeholders
Utilizing the expertise of two leading institutions in global mental health research and policy development, the Centre for Global Mental Health at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the WHO’s Department for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, the MHIN team aims to develop resources such as systematic reviews, knowledge summaries, policy briefs, infographics and other original research to supplement the content uploaded by members.
Please contact us using our online submissions form if you are interested in submitting a resource.
