Depression around the World
In celebration of this year's World Health Day theme titled "Depression: Let's Talk", the Volunteering and International Psychiatry Special Interest Group (VIPSIG) to the Royal College of Psychiatry compiled a collection of stories on depression. Here, mental health specialists and advocates from 35 countries give insights into how their country addresses depression across the globe.

The Volunteering and International Psychiatry Special Interest Group (VIPSIG) was launched at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2011. VIPSIG aims to promote and support mental health globally, focusing on the low- and middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank.
