WISH 2013 Mental Health Report: "Transforming Lives, Enhancing Communities"

The report seeks to position mental health as a global health priority and to describe innovations that expand access to effective mental health treatment and care, to reduce the global human and economic cost of mental health problems by providing equitable and evidence-based mental healthcare and treatment.

 

Six key policy actions are suggested in this report and are illustrated by a number of innovative solutions. These policy actions are based on a set of cross-cutting principles with specific steps to implement these at scale.
