World Mental Health Day 2018 Events

This #WMHD we mapped the global commitment of innovators and organizations around the globe who are marking this year's World Mental Health Day 2018 by hosting events promoting mental health in workplaces, schools and other settings in their countries. The map also represents countries participating in the dissemination of key messages from the Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development in their events.

Global Events

• The Lancet Commission will be launched at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit, hosted by the UK Department of Health in London from 9-10 October. Find out more about the Lancet Commission on their Collaborations page, visit their website and follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #LancetGMH
• The World Health Organization are releasing materials to mark World Mental Health Day including a fact-sheet on Adolescent Mental Health and social media videos in 6 languages.
