Produced by the Young Leaders for the Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development, this Policy Brief embodies the principles of Youth participation and calls policy makers to action with key recommendations to prioritise global action on mental health for young people.

This resource was developed by members of the World Federation for Mental Health, Mental Health Innovation Network and NCD Alliance to support advocacy by global health advocates seeking integration of Mental Health into policy, processes and actions to prevent and control NCDs.

Authored by Seth Mnookin (MIT), this report is a product of almost two years of activities of a Working group chaired by Arthur Kleinman (Harvard University Asia Centre). This report was first presented during the keynote panel of a World Bank Group/ World Health Organization high-level meeting on making mental health a global development priority.
