Stories from the field

In these video interviews, health care workers share challenges, activities and recommendations in providing remote mental health support for vulnerable groups during COVID-19. As part of the ‘Stories from the field’ blog series, a collaboration between MHIN and the World Health Organization, these videos highlight innovations in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) service delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy - Pune, India

The Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy (CMHLP) works to protect the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities in collaboration with diverse stakeholders from service users to policy makers. To reach populations with low literacy levels and vast linguistic diversity, the organisation created short videos, adapting evidence-based resources on mental health and COVID-19 to an Indian context. The videos were translated into six languages and shared via WhatsApp. View the videos on YouTube and follow CMHLP on Twitter and Facebook
